LOOK

Wow. Klaus Pichler is an Austrian photographer, and his series of images depicting rotten food, presented with all the ornate, bourgie class of a Victorian still life, is mind blowing. Gorgeous, grotesque, and yet it manages to fulfill a heavy statement about consumption and waste - this is high art, my friends. Check out the nod to Harold Edgarton's iconic bullet-through-apple photo, and the surprisingly horrific platter of flour. If you haven't lost your appetite, check out www.kpic.at for more brilliance.
