Weekend Update

on SNL was funny this week, but I wish there'd been a 'Stefon' segment. My week has been slightly less glorious. With the nice weather comes outdoor artmaking, and as much as I'd like to posture myself as a great art influence on kids, my current charges decided the artmaking this week involved building a 'fairy house', so here's a couple pis of them chalking out a path for the fairies. You have to admit, K (the elder) had the best smile ever and S is basically Curious George in human toddler form. Ador. Able. Also, I started two new pieces. Can't tell for sure yet, but I think I may be progressing technically. Just have to watch out for the realism bug. I'm not looking to become the next chuck close, here.
